Talk20 Beirut

TALK20 is a lecture-based series that encourages interdisciplinary exposure to designers/artists/musicians/ within Beirut. It happens in the form of an informal gathering, where 10 to 12 speakers, from established professionals, young artists, to students, present their work [or a specific theme from their work] in the short format of 20x20: 20 slides, 20 seconds each. Based on an international event initiated in Philadelphia, Talk20 Beirut editions started in 2008 at the American University of Beirut, and have been recurrently produced every year by the organization and initiative of students and faculty at the Department of Architecture and Design [ArD].
