Micro Infrastructure

Micro Devices / Infrastructure is a course that teaches visualization and architecture diagramming as analytical methods to pursue an in-depth research on a specific local infrastructural problematic. The aim is to tackle, on a yearly basis, one infrastructural or service issue while focusing on a specific area in Lebanon. Throughout the years, the course tackled different issues of transportation, water, energy, and pollution. Through an in-depth analysis of the infrastructural system and supplemented with research on the concerned area, the students will work on creating a comprehensive catalogue of the visual research, while generating hybrid proposals, micro or macro infrastructures, that can act as operative interventions.
